Classic local French restaurant right on the port. Was impressed with the vegan salad, which was both substantial, fresh and well executed. Its not always easy getting a good vegan dish in France! Very generous portions. The fish was cooked perfectly, with a salty, crispy skin. The waiter took out the bream cheeks and added them to the mash which was an impressive touch. My dining partner loved their mashed potato, which was creamy and smooth.
Nothing fancy, just simple classic French coastal cooking. Great staff, they clearly cared about their work.

We were looking for a restaurant that served fried anchovies and seafood. La Corderie was the perfect place. The seafood is fresh and delicious. I ordered the cod and my husband got the Fishmonger soup. Both were excellent! The fried anchovies hit the spot. We are staying in Nice and it was a quick 20-25 min ride using Bolt. We made reservations on line so we could eat outside. We would definitely go back to eat again! Great customer service to add to an enjoyable dining experience.
What a fabulous night out with friends. If you're looking for something off the beaten path but something with great atmosphere, service and food - this is a contender. The staff was friendly and service was fantastic. The food was delicious with fresh seafood and a variety of entries. Loved the cocktail options and desserts.
Fantastic place! Fish (daurade) was amazing, all portions very generous and tasty at reasonable prices. Very friendly and attentive service. This was our third time eating there, certainly not the last!
Visited here based on a recommendation when staying nearby in Nice. We did the walk from our hotel on Boulevard Hugo. We didn’t rush and because it was so warm that worked, it took us about 2 hours or little more to do the walk but we took our time. The scenery along the way is amazing.
The restaurant is in a lovely sleepy seaside town. It’s so relaxing, no one there is worried about life or work etc but just there to relax, eat great food and have a refreshing glass of wine. It was really busy for lunch, mostly locals eating there but some tourists too. I couldn’t recommend it more highly than 5 star. We loved it.
There is a walk up steps back to main road and you can grab a bus back to nice, worked out nicely. Highly recommend the walk and booking the restaurant in advance and make sure to sit outside.
Probably one of the best kept local secrets; this surprising restaurant has more to it than just the great food (authentic regional specialties) and stunning views - fantastic and friendly service. We’ll be back!
Staff very welcoming! For sure they know Italian, English and French, but I bet they know more!
